Telemetry Systems


Nortech design, supply and support end-to-end telemetry systems for end users and system integrators.

Our systems are used by Power Utilities, Waste and Water Companies, in the Security and Transport sectors as well as for general monitoring and control applications.

We have a range of our own design 'telemetry boxes' which monitor the equipment out in the field. These boxes will usually include an embedded communications device (usually a GPRS modem or Ethernet).

These remote boxes report into a Central Server (called iHost) which logs alarms, events and other information about the remote sites. Users login into the Server and use the system via series of webpages. Automatic text message and email notifications can be forwarded by the Server. Nortech Telemetry Systems are designed to be straight forward to install by users with no manufacturer specific knowledge.

Low start-up cost

We offer a managed service over the web so smaller systems can be installed without the need for server or client software. At its simplest a Nortech telemetry system can consist of a few remote sites with a single user monitoring alarms from a mobile phone and occasional website visits to view historical events.

Room to Grow

Our telemetry systems are truely scaleable and can grow as your application requires. Our biggest systems are split across thousands of remote data collection sites, collected into multi-server central platforms. Our customers include the largest multi-national utilities.
